Hanne Rivrud (born 1982) is an Oslo-based artist working with video installation and painting. She graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2006.
Her art is expressionistic and often contain an element of voyeurism. Through the prism of solitude, she explores intimate moments and broader themes such as identity, relationship dynamics, and the feeling of being ostracised.
Her work is in the collection of The National Museum of Art Norway, and has been exhibited internationally, including 2007 Venice Biennale (IT); New York Art Book Fair, PS1 MOMA (US); MKII, London (UK); First Draft Gallery, Sydney (AU); Ars Electronica, Linz (AT); National Art Exhibition, Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (NO)
